1. Rui and Mike at Eyedrum. Site specific installation, found objects. In progress.

This work follows the performance Pregnant Stone, by Rui Sekido, that was the highlight of the Strange Fruit exhibit at Eyedrum in July 2002. Sekido, with the aid of Mike Yamakami and volunteers, erected a 50' bamboo tripod, from which he performed a suspended dance. The bamboo and rope from Pregnant Stone are used in this piece and the stones refer to Sekido and the weight that he used to counterbalance his suspended form.
