CASE STUDY 1: A marketing firm was tasked to create learning opportunities regarding street art, for a multi-national firm’s marketing department retreat. I identified appropriate locations around Atlanta, including well-known graffiti walls and a “secret” graffiti gallery which the group of 29 executives visited. I secured the services of a prolific artist to address the group on the graffiti writer’s raison d’être and code of ethics. Through Q&A we answered the team’s questions about how they might best incorporate street art into their marketing strategy while avoiding some pitfalls that might accompany such an approach.
CASE STUDY 2: An artist was awarded a grant to complete a multi-event public performance project. I consulted with him to gain media placements and to create public awareness leading up to his event; this included, but was not limited to, writing and distribution of press releases, creating email and social media campaigns, with photography and map graphics, etc. I also secured the services of photographers and a videographer to document the events fully. I attended the events and represented the artist as he performed the work. |
